Publication and Procedure
Indonesia Journal of Marine Tourism (IJoMT) follows a structured and transparent publication process to ensure the quality and integrity of scholarly work in the field of marine tourism. The publication procedure includes the following steps:
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors are required to submit their manuscripts through the official online submission system, following the journal’s formatting and submission guidelines.
2. Initial Screening
All submissions are screened by the editorial team to assess relevance to the journal’s scope, completeness of content, and compliance with ethical standards.
3. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are subjected to a double-blind peer-review process, involving at least two reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
4. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers' recommendations, the editorial team will make a decision: accept, accept with minor/major revisions, or reject. Authors will receive detailed feedback to improve their work if revisions are needed.
5. Revision and Resubmission
Authors are expected to address reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within the specified time frame.
6. Final Acceptance and Publication
After final approval, the article will be copyedited, typeset, and scheduled for publication in the upcoming issue. All published articles are made available online with open access.
7. Indexing and Archiving
All published articles are indexed and archived in reputable databases to ensure long-term accessibility and academic visibility.
