Ethics for Author

Authors submitting to the Indonesia Journal of Marine Tourism (IJoMT) are expected to adhere to the highest standards of academic and research ethics. The following principles must be observed:

1. Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must ensure that their work is original and free from plagiarism. Proper citation must be given to all sources, and any use of others' work must be appropriately acknowledged.

2. Data Accuracy and Integrity

Authors are responsible for presenting accurate data and results. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is considered unethical and unacceptable.

3. Authorship and Contribution

Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the research. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.

4. Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.

5. Multiple or Redundant Publication

Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously or publish redundant articles that overlap significantly with previously published work.

6. Ethical Research Standards

Research involving human or animal subjects must follow ethical guidelines and, where applicable, include evidence of approval from an ethics committee.

By complying with these ethical guidelines, authors help maintain the credibility, integrity, and quality of publications in the Indonesia Journal of Marine Tourism.
