The main problem in this research is the unclear role and impact of Banquet Event Order (BEO) in event management in large hotels, especially at Mercure Makassar Nexa Pettarani Hotel. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and analysis of BEO documents from previous events. The main findings show that BEO serves as an important tool to ensure clear communication, proper resource allocation, and effective coordination between departments during event execution. In addition, the BEO helps to reduce the risk of operational errors and improve staff efficiency, which has a positive impact on client satisfaction and hotel reputation. The main conclusion of this study is that effective implementation of BEO is essential in hospitality event management and should be considered as a standard practice to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
