Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025): ITINERARY: Journal of Travel Operation and Travel Business

The inaugural issue of ITINERARY: Journal of Travel Operation and Travel Business presents five scholarly articles that mark a significant milestone in the journal’s mission to contribute to the development of knowledge in travel operations and tourism business. As part of the application for an ISSN through the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), this issue serves as the foundation for establishing the journal’s academic credibility and relevance.

Managed by the Department of Travel Studies, this journal aims to serve as a platform for publishing academic works from the university community—particularly from the Travel Business  (Usaha Perjalanan Wisata) and Tours and Travel  (Perjalanan Wisata) study programs—as well as contributions from practitioners, industry professionals, and researchers in the field of tourism and travel.

This issue reflects a diverse range of topics and methodological approaches, including operational strategies of travel agencies, tourist behavior analysis, innovations in tour package management, and the integration of technology in travel services. By publishing high-quality research and practical insights, the journal aspires to strengthen academic discourse and professional practice in Indonesia’s tourism and travel sectors.
